The online exhibition presents the ongoing research by the project investigators.

The exhibition Iberia Triumphant: the reconstruction of Lisbon on the triumphal entry of Philip II of Spain in 1581 based on the research by Laura Fernandez-Gonzalez principal investigator of the project and curator, that will be exhibited at the Mathew Gallery in the Architecture department of the University of Edinburgh, UK this coming September 2010. The exhibition consists in the first stage of research into the itinerary, ephemeral architecture and display in Lisbon on the entry of Philip II in 1581. The research is based mostly on its architectural input, and therefore this exhibition must be contextualised as an ongoing research project in which the funding will critically pivot the enhancement of the visual elements displayed.
